“The thing that’s been like harrowing—like, following me around—everybody wants to know if I’m taking Ozempic, Mounjaro, semaglutide, and the answer is obviously. Yes, of course,” Claudia said in the latest episode of her podcast The Toast.
“You thought they were going to make a weight loss drug and I wasn’t going to take it? You’re dumb. Of course, I’m f–king taking it,” she said.
Claudia, who is pictured here at the ACM Awards in both 2022 and 2023, says that she began her weight loss journey a year ago.
“I think when I started, I was a little embarrassed,” she said. “Like, ‘Oh my God I have to inject myself with something just to get my fat ass to stop eating. Other people can do it without, why can’t I?’ In the beginning, my decision to not share was rooted in a little bit shame.”
