Fresh from the release of her critically acclaimed debut mini album ‘K1’, Kamille today (September 29th) drops more new music in the form of her latest single ‘Manifesting – Part 2’ – the follow up to the autobiographical ‘Manifesting – Part 1’.
Featuring Mercury Prize nominee and close friend Kojey Radical, the super empowering track sees the ‘Options’ singer explore the concept and ideation of manifestation, whilst unapologetically speaking aloud her desire to both chase her dreams, and follow her own path, regardless of what anybody else has to say.
Incorporating elements of trip-hop, pop, soul and R&B, the true allure of ‘Manifesting – Part 2’ lies in Kamille’s fierce, self-assured delivery of the singles life-affirming lyric – her powerful vocal riffing over the top of staccato beats, and swagged out rhythms. Complemented by Kojey’s distinctive tone, the ‘Payback’ rapper spoken word verse adds an exciting hip-hop flair to the song.
Commenting on the track, the GRAMMY and BRIT Award winner says: “I really believe in the power of manifesting and believing that things I want in my life can happen, if I whole-heartedly believe they will. I made this song to inspire anyone who has lost hope for a second.”
