Speaking to the outlet, Danny was asked if he was glad he was never a leading-man type of movie star.

“I don’t celebrate the fact that I’m not Clark Gable,” he replied, adding, “I do celebrate that I am who I am.”

Danny continued, saying that while he does have the admiration of other leading men in Hollywood, like his former neighbor, Brad Pitt, he’s like the character roles.

“I’m a big fan of Brad and Humphrey Bogart and (Jack) Nicholson and Leonardo. The painter, not the actor. Only kidding!” he joked.

“You know, we all have a place,” Danny notes. “I did imagine my place would be closer to Peter Lorre or Edward G. Robinson or even W.C. Fields.”
